Lemon Piri Piri chickpeas (Handbag snack)

“Just great for snacks of the go!”


250g chickpeas (tinned) rinsed and drained

1 tsp extra virgin olive oil

2 tsp. Lemon Piri Piri powder

1 clove of garlic


Himalayan salt to taste

Squeeze of lemon to taste


Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees (gas mark 4) and line a baking tray with baking paper

Mix the chickpeas with the Lemon Piri Piri powder, olive oil, garlic and Himalayan salt in a bowl

Transfer the chickpeas to the baking tray and bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown and crunchy.

Leave to cool on the tray – this will give them that extra crunch!

Serve into resealable pots.
